Annual giving is an important source of private financial support that ensures our students receive a quality education at Wheeling Jesuit University.  Gifts support student scholarships, library books, classroom equipment, academic research and much more.  The Annual Fund provides vital resources that have allowed the university to achieve and maintain its current levels of educational excellence.

Your gift, no matter what the size is important.  Annual giving is also a powerful sign of alumni endorsement, also called "alumni participation."  The percent of gifts received is reported in publications such as U.S. News & World Report.  This alumni satisfaction barometer is read by potential corporate, foundation and alumni supporters as well as potential students and their parents when deciding which university to support or attend.  

Tuition only covers a portion of what is needed to educate a student at Wheeling Jesuit University.  The rest is covered by contributions from foundations, corporations, friends and WJU alumni. Therefore, it is vital to show potential donors and students that we care about our school.
