
1. Posters should be mounted to a 3' by 4' tri-fold presentation board. It is the student's responsibility to obtain the tri-fold presentation board and mount their presentation.
2. Posters will be presented on the third floor of Donahue Hall and the bridge between Donahue Hall and Acker Science Center.
3. All poster presentations will be given a number, that will correspond to a particular poster area. On the day of the Symposium, students should display their posters by 10:00 a.m.
4. Posters should be readable by viewers five feet away. Use large type and graphics.
5. The message should be clear and understandable without oral explanation.
6. Posters should include an Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, a Summary and/or Set of Conclusions, and References.
7. Posters should avoid discipline-related abbreviations, acronyms, and jargon.
8. The progression of information over the poster should be logically natural, such as down the columns or along the rows.
9. No audio/visual equipment will be provided for poster sessions.
