The Physical Therapy Department is located in the Alma Grace McDonough Center. This addition to the campus offers a rich academic environment for students to maximize their learning. The building houses the PT staff and faculty offices, as well as the PT lab, the Learning Resource Center(LRC), tutorial rooms, and student classrooms. In addition to these academic resources, students utilize the McDonough Center's pool, fitness center, indoor track, racquetball and basketball courts, and lobby for enjoyment of their time away from study.

The PT Lab is spacious and equipped with 16 plinths, numerous modality resources, a plethora of exercise equipment, and many other common components of a PT department. Students can use their problem-solving skills to choose from the many resources in the lab to provide the most efficient and effective treatment for their patients.

The PT LRC is a unique setting for students to learn. This rich academic environment offers texts, journals, and recent articles for current PT information. In addition to these more traditional resources, the LRC has access to the Internet, ADAM, Slice of Life, and many other computer programs to enhance learning. There is also a broad selection of videos on reserve for students to view to obtain a more thorough understanding of their topic of study. Students have access to an abundance of models for study to supplement their learning. Finally, the students have access to the dedicated computer lab which has both internet and wireless capabilities.
